This year’s installment of KubeCon and CloudNativeCon looks to be the biggest yet, packing in over 200 sessions, 12 Cloud Native Tracks, and 70+ speakers in five days. KubeCon and CloudNativeCon North America is this fall’s must-attend event and it’s happening
October 11 -15 in Los Angeles, CA. It is being billed as the place to be (virtually or in-person) to dive deep into cloud native technologies. The conference features content from top technologists from leading open source and cloud native communities focused on furthering the education and advancement of cloud native computing.

Why Attend?

The event is for everyone from developers to executive leadership, but why visit this year’s conference in particular? Good question. In today’s evolving health environment , for many attendees it’s hasn’t been easy to rejoin the community in-person. A 2021 Nature poll showed how undecided people still are concerned about attending in-person events. 74% of respondents said they want conferences to continue including a virtual component in the future. The same poll, however, revealed that 69% of people prefer in-person events for the networking opportunities it offers. If you’re still on the fence about attending, the event website even provides a letter to share with your boss that explains why it’s important to attend the conference!

Fylamynt will be at the conference where we will look to reconnect with colleagues, discuss where the latest cloud innovations are heading, and enjoy sharing a chat with old friends and new.

Getting Out There

Making the trip to KubeCon and CloudNativeCon 2021 promises so much more than the thrill of catching up with friends. Conferences are an excellent opportunity to learn the latest trends and product offerings. Let’s face it, Zoom is an essential tool for remote work, but it doesn’t give us the familiar sense of working and conversing with others.

Live events give technologists and up-and-coming entrepreneurs a change of scenery. Extended periods of work from home can overwhelm even the most disciplined of us, stifling energy and creativity. It’s worthwhile to consider the conference as a much-needed change of pace or maybe even the centerpiece to a week-long trip. Enjoy the event, taste local fare, see the sights in L.A.

Meet with Fylamynt at KubeCon 2021

One thing’s for sure: this year’s KubeCon promises to offer something for everyone in the cloud world. Fylamynt will be there in person, but we hope to connect with remote attendees all the same. If you’re there, come by our booth and say “Hi!” at KubeCon. We’ll be available to answer questions and discuss the benefits of our cloud workflow automation solution. Hope to see you in person at booth #SU74.
